The European Big Data Value Forum 2021 is the flagship event of the European Big Data Value and Data-Driven AI Research and Innovation community organised by the BDVA and the European Commission (DG CNECT).
The 2021 edition took place from the 29th of November to the 3rd of December with the theme “Digital Transformation powered by Data and AI”. The event brought together industry professionals, business developers, researchers and policy-makers from all over Europe and other regions of the world to advance policy actions, and industrial and research activities in the areas of Data and AI.
ahedd actively participated in two days of the EBDVF, as a member of the Big Data Value Association and a GOLD Data i-Space and as a member of the European Federation of Data-driven Innovation Hubs (EUHUBS4DATA).
On the 30th of November, Periklis Terlixidis participated in the “i-Spaces Ceremony“, where ahedd officially received the GOLD data i-Space label, a recognition of the maturity and potential impact of its work towards Data Innovation.

On the 3rd of December, Denia Kanellopoulou participated as a speaker in the session “Collaboration to increase the impact: technical challenges and generated value from European federated data-driven initiatives“. The session showed how technology efforts can be efficiently combined in a shared strategy around federated platforms and discussed how this learning path comes to a greater impact on a data-driven economy.
