ahedd DIH was invited to participate in the online conference Smart Cities, Digitalisation & Data management – Experiences & Best practices in Greece & Germany. The conference was held on Tuesday 10 May 2022, at 17.00 and was organised by the German Hellenic Chamber of Industry and Commerce, the Office for Economic and Commercial Affairs of the Hellenic Embassy in Berlin, and the Offices for Economic and Commercial Affairs in Munich and in Düsseldorf.
The aim of the event was to promote ongoing projects at national and local level in both countries as well as activities of Greek and German research centres and companies, that are active in the field of Smart Cities. The exchange of ideas and promotion of collaborations and synergies between the two countries in this field is also of great significance.
Periklis Terlixidis, Operating Officer of ahedd DIH gave a talk with the title Giga Campus: Design & Operation of a smart city in the campus of NCSR Demokritos, in the context of Collecting and (f)using urban data in Smart cities.
