A new report on the future of Generative Artificial Intelligence (Gen AI) in Greece by 2030, conducted by the National Centre for Social Research (EKKE) and the NCSR Demokritos, with support from the Special Secretariat of Foresight, explores opportunities, challenges and strategic recommendations to shape the country’s Gen AI ecosystem.
Through a multi-method approach, including desk research, literature reviews and expert interviews, the study presents four potential scenarios for Gen AI’s evolution in Greece. The research highlights the importance of future-oriented thinking, emphasising the need for Greece to adapt accordingly its institutions and policies, ensuring the country can harness the opportunities presented by Generative AI for sustainable growth and resilient prosperity.
