Artificial Intelligence in Retail – Future of Retail 2022

ahedd DIH was invited to contribute to the conference Future of Retail 2022, organised by the Hellenic Confederation of Commerce and Entrepreneurship. The event took place physically, between Friday and Saturday, 27-28 May in Athens Intercontinental.

Artificial Intelligence in Retail

Denia Kanellopoulou, Innovation Services specialist of ahedd DIH, participated in the panel discussion on Artificial Intelligence in Retail, on Saturday 28 May, at 16.00. Denia states that AI is a strategic investment for any company, highlighting its use in customer service and in the improvement of customer experience. “Data is available everywhere and therefore the best possible analysis and utilisation of it is essential,” said Denia Kanellopoulou.

About Future of Retail

The conference was a discussion forum focusing on the interpretation of current facts about trade and the main focus of the two-day conference was the transition from traditional to modern, and in particular to the new wave of digital globalisation and innovation. The conference sought to map and delineate the new environment in which outlining the need to connect research institutes and commercial enterprises, while highlighting the need for a wider transformation of commercial enterprises. In any case, the goal of Future of Retail 2022 was to turn it into an open forum, in which the broader developments in the retail industry would be decoded and made meaningful.
