A round-table on High Performance, Quantum & Edge Computing

On Tuesday 13 July 2021, ahedd organised a High-Performance Computing (HPC), Quantum Computing & Edge Computing round-table.

The round-table was moderated by Periklis Terlixidis, Operating Officer of ahedd and actively involved the following speakers:

• Ilias Hatzakis (GRNET) on High Performance Computing (HPC)
• Dr. Panagiotis Dimitrakis, (NCSR Demokritos) on Quantum Computing
• Dimitris Symeonidis (Vodafone) on 5G & Edge Computing
• Dr. Katerina Tzortzatou (NCSR Demokritos) on HPC Services Industrial Mapping (EuroCC project)

Dr. Vangelis Karkaletsis, Director of the Institute of Informatics and Telecommunication of NCSR Demokritos and scientific supervisor of ahedd, addressed the welcome speech.

The event was hosted by the 56th Summer School of NCSR Demokritos that took place from 12 to 16 July 2021 in hybrid mode.
