ahedd DIH orchestrated the creation of Giga Campus, a joint venture of NCSR Demokritos and Vodafone aiming to support the acceleration of Greece’s digital transformation through the use of Internet of Things (IoT) and 5G technologies.
Giga Campus is a model living laboratory of exponential technologies that act as a test-bed for experimentation and will be available to SMEs and public administrations through ahedd.
The official launch took place on July 2021 at NCSR Demokritos in Agia Paraskevi in a meeting of the two organisations, hosted by Dr George Nounesis, Director and Chairman of the Board of NCSR Demokritos and was attended by the Minister of State and Digital Governance, Mr Kyriakos Pierrakakis and by the Chairman and CEO at Vodafone Greece, Mr Harry Broumidis among other executives.
