The GALACTICA project partnership invited ahedd DIH to present Smart Attica European Digital Innovation Hub in the online GALACTICA workshop with DIHs “How textile, aerospace and AM companies can be supported by DIHs and the role of clusters in this bridging”, on Tuesday 22 November 2022.
During the workshop, the Galactica project team presented the main results of the two open calls for proposals, which have financed 51 projects creating cross-sectoral and cross-regional collaborative ideas. Following the Galactica presentation, the attendees learnt about the role, the mission and the services of Digital Innovation Hubs and representatives of 9 Digital Innovation Hubs from different European countries briefly presented their organization and services.
Denia Kanellopoulou, Innovation Services expert of ahedd DIH, presented Smart Attica, the Greek European Digital Innovation Hub (EDIH) for Artificial Intelligence and its services. The hub will operate in three critical business sectors of the Greek economy: Energy & Environment, Supply chain & Mobility, Culture & Tourism, in the Attica region and will focus on the digital transformation of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and public sector organisations and aims to advance their digital maturity. The consortium consists of 17 partners in Greece and is coordinated by ahedd, the Digital Innovation Hub of National Center for Scientific Research Demokritos.
Finally, a discussion was held on how clusters can present DIHs to their members to support them in their digitalization and innovation processes.
