ahedd Digital Innovation Hub at NCSR “DEMOKRITOS” collaborates, among other projects, with the EY ZHN ecosystem, at the experiential observatory Cell of Life Dome at The Ellinikon Experience Park.
On Friday 23 September 2022, at 17.30, EY ZHN presented the initiatives Cell of Life & Xplore Blue at The Ellinikon Experience Park.
Periklis Terlixidis, Operating Officer of ahedd DIH attended the event and talked about the collaboration with the EY ZHN ecosystem and the activities that have been designed for the Cell of Life.
Cell of Life was presented in July 2022 at the Ellinikon Experience Park, attracting thousands of visitors and contributing to biodiversity and environmental education. Cell of Life is an innovative centre for observing, protecting and regenerating life and biodiversity through citizen participation. It functions as a touristic, environmental, educational and scientific hub, making good use of citizen science. Activities about Sustainability, Renewability and Life have been designed in collaboration with ahedd DIH at NCSR Demokritos, so that visitors of all ages will have the opportunity to become explorers, scientists, engineers, creators. Xplore Blue, the hybrid platform to protect the marine environment is the second project that will be presented. Both initiatives have direct applications in the fields of Tourism, Education, Environment but also in ESGs (Environmental, Social and Governance) for organisations and companies.
