ahedd participated in the CIVINET Forum 2024, a three-day regional event of CIVITAS community, organised by CIVINET Greece-Cyprus, bringing together all the know-how and experience on sustainable mobility of European cities and islands.With a motto inspired by the New European Bauhaus “moving more sustainably, making our lives better together”, the forum brought together mobility practitioners, researchers, students, industry representatives, politicians, startuppers, civil society members, creative artists, and citizens.
The event took place between 28 and 30 May 2024 at Technopolis City of Athens and attracted over 250 unique participants, representing 140 institutions, sending a strong message that we all need to act faster and more effectively to develop climate-neutral and socially sustainable cities, villages and islands, with science and culture as our allies.
George Giannakopoulos (ahedd DIH, NCSR Demokritos) moderated on Tuesday 28 May an interesting discussion on “Innovative industry” along with invited speakers from the industry.
