The Founding Team

The National Centre for Scientific Research (NCSR) Demokritos is the largest multidisciplinary Research Centre of Greece, with approximately 1000 employees and more than 50 years of ground-breaking scientific achievements and contributions to the Greek economy and society. It was a major partner in several national technological initiatives like the acquisition and operation of high-performance computing facilities and the establishment of high-speed computational networks in the country and is currently a leader or member in multiple national & European infrastructures.

Demokritos founded in 1992 the Lefkippos Tech Park, a unique innovation ecosystem consisting of more than 40 spin-offs, highly innovative SMEs, disruptive startups and world-leading international companies, such as Tesla Greece. All operations are hosted within Demokritos premises (a 600-acre campus), exploiting state-of-the-art technological facilities and R&D equipment as well as business incubation and networking services.

Future Intelligence (FINT) is a Greek SME specialized in Information & Communication Technologies (ICT) head-quartered in Lefkippos since 2009. It is the leading manufacturer of IoT systems in Greece and a workplace of highly specialized researchers and engineers.
